BALTIMORE, Md. — A University of Maryland Medical Center employee is being investigated after making disparaging comments on her Facebook page about the death of Officer First Class Jason Schneider.

Lisa Powell, who wrote the comment, said all cops were dirty, according to ABC 2.

Co-workers of Powell, who worked with Shock Trauma for a period, say her comments were sad.

"I've seen her care for members of law enforcement and the fire department when we've had them as patients and I've never seen her be anything but professional when she is taking care of them,” said a co-worker who chose to remain anonymous.

“The comments attributed to our employee are disappointing and do not reflect the feelings of the University of Maryland Medical Center or our staff,” read a statement made by UMMC. “It is with great pride that we serve the law enforcement community, who we consider to be our family, and we are all mourning the loss of Officer Schneider.

According to the report, many are calling for Powell’s termination.
