Such a life is truly rich. Take strength in knowing that when an officer falls, our resolve to serve those in need is not diminished. Our dedication to protecting those in danger is not weakened. Age: 25

Cause of Death: Automobile Accident

Additional Information:
  Trooper Linn had served with the agency for 2 years and was assigned to the Charles Town Detachment. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Incident Details:
Trooper Brian Linn was killed in an automobile accident while responding to assist in a foot pursuit in Kearneysville. His vehicle went out of control and struck a utility pole.

He was transported to Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia, where he succumbed to his injuries.
