Off-duty SWAT officer stops robber

The Central Florida News

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — An investigation got under way after Titusville police detectives said a man trying to rob a Winn-Dixie late Saturday was shot while trying to flee the scene.

Officers received seveeral 911 calls that a man with a mask was trying to rob the grocery store on Singleton Avenue with a handgun.

Some customers inside the store lay on the ground, while others took off.
