Additional Info: Officer Gary Buro had been a police officer for 11 years. He is survived by his parents, brother and sister.

Cause of Death: Buro was shot and killed while responding to a domestic dispute.

A veteran officer who joined the Chesterfield Police Department on Jan. 17 was fatally shot while answering a domestic dispute call in Ettrick early this morning.
 
A fellow officer was wounded and their assailant was fatally shot.
 
Police said Officer Gary J. Buro, 34, was slain when he and Officer Joseph G. Diman, 26, responded to a 1:19 a.m. call at 3701 Totty St.
