Tucson Officer Patrick Hardesty killed in Line of Duty

Tucson Police Officer Patrick K. Hardesty was killed in the line of duty Monday while in a foot pursuit of a hit and run suspect. Officer Hardesty had served on the Tucson police force for 19 months but had been a police reserve officer for 11 years prior to that. He is survived by three children.
