Mass. Man, Police Officer Killed In Two Accidents On Same Hwy.

WARE, Mass. (AP) -- An accident on Route 32 in Ware on Monday killed
one driver, while an accident on the same road in neighboring Monson
killed a police officer the previous day.
On Monday, Joseph Weaver, 53, of Ware was killed at about 5:30 a.m.
when his vehicle hit a milk truck on a section of the rural road in
Ware, police said.
The driver of the truck, Dwayne Laramee, was not injured. The
accident was under investigation.
On Sunday, a police officer from Monson was killed when he lost
control of his car on Route 32 in that town and hit utility poles.
Police Officer Michael Bolaske, 37, was airlifted to UMass Memorial
Medical Center in Worcester, where he died. Police were also
investigating that accident.
