An Albuquerque police officer caught inside a car with a prostitute has been removed from the department's SWAT team, and Police Chief Ray Schultz said he is seeking a "substantial suspension."

In late August, undercover officers conducting a prostitution sting along Central spotted officer Glenn McGuire in a parked car. McGuire, a 13-year veteran, was off duty at the time. Officers watched the vehicle and saw a woman, whom they knew to be a prostitute, exit the passenger side door before the car drove off.
