DALLAS — A Dallas officer whose officer husband was slain has been placed on administrative leave after making a rap song in which she threatens to shoot anyone who messes with her.
Regina Smith, known on stage as Lucille Baller, says the video is homage to her husband, who died in the line of duty in 2009.
The video shows Smith in uniform and pretending to use her weapon. She raps, “Lucy got a drawer full of all day suckers, don't mess with me, or I will shoot the [expletive], 'cuz Lucille Baller she been to hell and back."
The police department is reviewing the video to see if Smith violated police standards.
