UPPER DARBY, Pa. - Blasting four shots into an Upper Darby police officer who fired back apparently wasn't enough for a man charged with attempted murder in the incident. He told officers standing guard at his hospital bed that he wished he'd had a bigger gun.

"That's a direct quote: 'If I had access to my AK-47, I'd have killed all the cops on the scene,' " said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.
