Ohio man kicks patrol car window, then officer

The Toledo Blade

TOLEDO, Ohio — A central-city man who authorities said kicked out a window of a Toledo police car and then kicked an officer was arraigned yesterday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Teron Harris, Jr., 18, of 2263 Mayville Place was charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and vandalism. He was being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Police responded to the 2200 block of Mayville about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday on a report of shots fired. A woman called 911 and told police the suspect was on her porch with a shotgun. He was kicking her door and yelling, a report said.
