Suspect steals gun, credentials from Texas officer

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas — Police continued their investigation today into a weekend burglary of a vehicle in which law enforcement identification badges and a handgun were stolen.

Lisa Price, a spokeswoman for the police department, said two sets of police officer credentials, including an identification card and badge, and a handgun were stolen about 11:30 a.m. Saturday from a car parked in the 1400 block of Sunset.
