Massachusetts: A 24-year-old Westport man is scheduled to face murder charges Tuesday after he attempted to run down a police officer with a car, according to police.

California: One man was shot to death by San Pablo police in Richmond Monday evening after a vehicle pursuit turned into a physical confrontation.

Atlanta: Victim Fight Backs, Kills Robber. The victim, who is a former U.S. Marine, will not be charged since police say he was acting in self defense.

New York: A man died Monday evening following a crash that ended a police chase.

California: Officers Injured, Suspect Dead After Police Pursuit.

North Carolina: Boaters arrested for firing at others. The three men turned off all the lights on their boat and began firing at anyone they saw. An off-duty deputy was one of the boaters under fire by the M-16 automatic weapon.

Florida: A man driving a van stolen in Volusia County fatally shot himself in the head while being chased on foot after crashing the vehicle in Seminole County late Monday.

D.C.: President Bush marked Memorial Day by signing a bill that keeps demonstrators from disrupting military funerals.
