Ohio man maced after assaulting officer

COLERAIN TWP., Ohio — A Colerain Township man is under arrest for allegedly assaulting a police officer just before 2 a.m. Saturday during a domestic violence investigation.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Benjamin Sandusky, 32, tried to push the officer off of the porch, then kicked him in the chest while the officer was taking him out of the home on Memory Lane.

Sandusky was taken to the ground and Maced, according to a report. Sandusky is charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
