Texas: 'Swatter' Sentenced to 30 Months in Prison for Hostage Hoaxes

New Jersey: A naked stabbing suspect got into a struggle with a female police officer Monday, leading a second officer to open fire and kill the suspect. The female officer was shot and seriously wounded.

Maryland: Man with body armor fires at police. 2 officers wounded; suspect is critical

Nebraska: Police say an Omaha police officer shot and killed a 17-year-old boy Sunday night. The officer was making a traffic stop near 31st and Larimore at about 10:15 Sunday night when shots were fired.

Colorado: Police shot a man in a wheelchair at a hospital in the US after a five-hour stand-off during which he claimed his oxygen tank had a detonator.

Ohio: A white police officer has been charged in the shooting death of a black woman during a January drug raid, an altercation that touched off protests and discussions about race relations.

New Mexico: A New Mexico sheriff's deputy is in critical condition tonight as authorities search for the fugitive suspected of shooting him in Ruidoso Downs.
