Cop wounded in '69 presses for dues

CHICAGO — Former Chicago police officer Terrence Knox was seeking closure in February when he agreed to an unusual plea bargain for the man who shot him in 1969.

But for Knox, another score from the shooting remains unsettled. His attempts to collect on money due him have been frustrated at every turn for more than three decades, he said.
