THE LATEST NEWS FROM NLEOMF ===========================

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund's online fundraising drive continues to pick up momentum and supporters, but we need 45 seconds of your time to help us reach our goal.
First, if you have not already done so, I hope you will consider making a donation today to support our important work leading up to National Police Week in May!
Second, please forward the message below right away to at least five of your friends, family members and other supporters of law enforcement! By doing so, you will be helping us continue to honor the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. You will also be helping us add the names of 306 officers to the Memorial Wall during this year's National Police Week.
Thank you for your help and continued support. I also invite you to visit the Memorial web site at www.nleomf.com to find updates about National Police Week and other important information.
MESSAGE TO BE FORWARDED - Please cut and paste into your email.
During the 2001 National Police Week (May 13 - 19), the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) will honor 306 officers by adding their names to the National Memorial in Washington, D.C. The NLEOMF is also hosting their annual candlelight vigil on May 13, which usually attracts more than 15,000 guests, and honors all officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. However, to do so, they need your help today.
The candlelight vigil is their most expensive event of the year, and each new name will cost roughly $200 to engrave (total of $61,200). That is why the Memorial has started an online drive to raise the funds necessary to cover these and other related expenses. I hope you will join me in supporting this important cause by visiting the Memorial web site at http://www.nleomf.com/NPWdonate.html and helping us honor the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Thank you and please remember to visit the Memorial web site at http://www.nleomf.com/NPWdonate.html to help!
