Fetishists' lawyers want charges dropped, Mass.

(ATTLEBORO, Mass.) - Lawyers for a man and woman arrested during a fetishists’ party say that police had no right to enter the premises.

Stefany Reed of New York was charged with assault for spanking another woman with a paddle. Benjamin Reed, the host of the bondage fest in a rented warehouse, was charged with prostitution and running an illegal business.

Defense lawyers say that tenants of commercial space have the same protection they would have in a rented apartment and have asked to have the charges dropped. Prosecutors say that police had been asked to patrol the building by the owner.
