LOS ANGELES — The traffic cop who exposed Mel Gibson's anti-Jew rant during a 2006 DUI arrest has been given permission to take his discrimination case related to the incident to court.

The movie star was forced to make apologies to several Jewish leaders after Sheriff Deputy James Mee revealed the Braveheart star had attacked his faith after he pulled him over and charged him with driving drunk in Malibu, California.
