HENDERSON, Nev. — The Henderson Police Chief announced her retirement Thursday in the wake of a case involving a diabetic man's treatment during a traffic stop.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers pulled over Adam Greene in 2010 for erratic driving. Dash cam video shows police physically confront Greene, who appears not to comply. It was later discovered he had gone into diabetic shock and was not drunk, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Greene's family accepted a $292,000 settlement on Feb. 7.
