2 New Jersey officers lose jobs over 'Death Race'

It's been a year since a 26-year sergeant first-class and a seven-year veteran of the New Jersey State Police were suspended for escorting a caravan of speeding sports cars down the Garden State Parkway. They were charged with tampering with or falsifying records for allegedly condoning the taping over of license plates to conceal the identities of the vehicle owners. Both officers have agreed that they would never work again in law enforcement in New Jersey.
