Taking Charge in School Violence Situations

A Baltimore County police officer secures the scene after a shooting in the parking lot of Randallstown High School, May 7. Four students were wounded in the drive-by shooting. The incident was one of several recent violent incidents at U.S. schools in the months after the anniversary of the Columbine tragedy. Officers must remain vigilant of the myriad threats when responding to school calls
