Wheelchair-bound cop gets help from his friends
As the officer lay trapped in his police SUV, two passers-by rolled him over and stealing his gun and his wallet

CHICAGO — Officer Densey Cole II remembers all too well the night his neck was broken in a car accident as he rushed to the scene of a burglary:
The brazen callousness of the passers-by who on May 27, 2009, exacerbated Cole's spinal injury by rolling his body as he lay trapped in his police SUV. Stealing his gun and wallet, they left Cole a quadriplegic.
