Video: Texas cop saves intoxicated woman from oncoming train

The drunken woman's car was stuck on the tracks before the officer came along

By PoliceOne Staff

MAGNOLIA, Texas — A Houston-area cop saved a drunken woman whose car was stuck on a set of railroad tracks. Three minutes after Cpl. Jose Lopez arrived to get the woman out of her car, a train can be heard approaching, blowing its whistle.

The woman insisted to the officer that she could get away from the situation on her own, but she failed to demonstrate as much, which can be seen (and heard) in the dash-cam video.

“Your car is on the railroad, just in case you don’t remember,” Lopez reminded her.

When asked how much she had to drink tonight, the woman said, “Not much.”

Watch the video below and see for yourself. The woman was charged with DWI.
