NEW HAVEN, Mo. — Police in New Haven saved a woman and her one-month old baby stuck in the path of an oncoming train.

Dash cam shows the train crush the woman's car, which was stopped on the railroad tracks. According to WTSP, two officers — one of whom was off-duty — got them out of the vehicle before the collision.

Although dispatch had informed the train conductor of the vehicle, the train was unable to stop.

Police arrested the woman, who was found to be intoxicated, and a family member has custody of the child.
