Video: Off-duty cop rescues woman from train tracks

The officer jumped into action when the woman seemingly fainted on the platform

MADRID — Dramatic surveillance video shows an officer spring into action after a woman fainted on a platform in the Madrid metro before collapsing onto the tracks moments before a train approached.

The off-duty officer quickly jumped onto the tracks and pulled the woman to safety as bystanders desperately waved at the oncoming train to stop as it approached.

The woman made a full recovery.
