Job Description
BCDS is actively recruiting Veterans (E6 and above) with recent OEF/OIF experience and Advisor Team experience for Advisor/Trainer Operations Assistants. Position responsibilities include: * Support Advisor-specific training and operations in both classroom training and tactical field evolutions as assigned by the ATG and ATCs. * Solicit, collect and disseminate Transition Team (TT) lessons learned in coordination with DoD lessons learned agencies and systems. * As the operations assistant, assign and prioritize resources. * Coordinate activities required for on-going and future classes and courses, including planning for current and future operations. * Develop and update lesson plans in accordance with the USMC Systems Approach to Training (SAT) User's Guide. * Provide technical input in development and updates of curriculum, Program of Instruction (POI) and training materials for the courses of instruction. * Support the class and exercise planning, execution phase, and after action feedback processes. * Coordinate with POI/Academics personnel to recommend curriculum development changes to corresponding documentation. * Assess advisor abilities to mentor and teach foreign national security personnel in proper TTPs related to POI training events. * This position may require travel to alternate training venues. Performance of duties shall be in a combination of classroom and field conditions.

Job Requirements
  • Age NA
  • Education GED; College degree preferred
  • Experience E-6 or above with recent operational experience at the Advisor Team level within the last four years as of date of hire; 20 years military experience; current knowledge and experience with Marine Corps TTP and Lessons Learned from recent real world operat
  • Additional Requirement :
    Military Education: REQUIRED: Certification as Marine Corps Range Safety Officers (RSO). DESIRED: Train the Trainer School (T3S) within last four years from date of hire a plus. Clearance: REQUIRED: Secret Clearance.
