The University of North Texas Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency serving the University of North Texas, a 36,000 student public institution within the Dallas/Fort Worth region. The Police Department is among the 6% of law enforcement agencies nationwide to have earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) and among only 30 universities nationwide to have earned accreditation from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA).
