QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of secondary education and certification from Basic Police Officer Training School; experience which indicates a thorough knowledge of departmental policy and procedure, management principles and law enforcement administration. Applicants must have minimum of 10 years’ experience in law enforcement field.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Ohio Peace Officer Certification, valid State of Ohio driver’s license, BAC verifier permit, radar training/certification, LEADS qualification, annual firearms certification.
SKILL: motor vehicle operation; operation and care of firearms; computer operation; crime scene processing.
