The CAD Zone, Inc. Announces Version 8.5 of Crime/Crash Zone Software

BEAVERTON, OR—April 14, 2009—The CAD Zone, Inc. introduces Version 8.5 of its widely used Crime Zone and Crash Zone diagramming software for law enforcement professionals.

The new software version contains improved 3D presentation of scenes, allowing the user to now set the Field of View Angle for more flexible viewing of his model (crash or crime scene).

Crime Zone and Crash Zone V.8.5 offers the capability to convert scene animations into AVI format movies for greater compatibility with video viewing and editing software.

New Crush Calculations are another feature of this software version, which enable the user to calculate the energy and the equivalent barrier speed from vehicle crush damage data.

Other features include:

•New incremental save and backup options.
•New Critical Speed Calculator for determining the critical speed of a selected arc or curve.
•More than 5000 pre-drawn symbols ready for the user to rotate, size and place
•Improved Object Length to calculate and label the true (3D) length of lines, arcs, curves, circles, and squares
