Safariland® Introduces New ALS™ Tactical Holsters
ONTARIO, Calif.—Safariland, part of the BAE Systems Products Group, announces today the introduction of two new Automatic Locking System (ALS™) tactical holsters, the Model 6354 ALS Tactical Holster and Model 6355 ALS Tactical Holster, that are available for the first time without the Self Locking System (SLS).
Safariland has earned a leadership position and an industry reputation for “Innovation Not Imitation™” for its holsters and equipment in the law enforcement, military and sporting good markets. With a research and development team comprised of veteran law enforcement officers and champion competitive shooters, Safariland utilizes this comprehensive industry knowledge to design, develop and manufacture some of the most innovative and highest quality products in the world.
The Model 6354 ALS Tactical Holster “locks” the weapon into place once holstered providing additional security from typical open top holsters. The locking device is completely operable with the thumb, making it very easy to use. Plus, once the retention device is released, the weapon can be drawn straight out of the holster with no twisting or other motion required.
The Model 6355 ALS Tactical Holster, which employs the same security features as the Model 6354, incorporates a quick release leg harness offering additional versatility and usability for law enforcement and tactical personnel.
Constructed of thermal-molded SAFARI-LAMINATE™ to protect the handgun and sights, the Model 6354 and Model 6355 are lined with Safari-Suede to protect the handgun’s finish. Additionally, both new models are standard with an adjustable double leg strap and leg shroud with mounting holes for optional accessories.
The Model 6354 ALS Tactical Holster is available in STX Tactical™ finish with an MSRP starting at $162.00. The Model 6355 ALS Tactical Holster is also available in STX Tactical finish with an MSRP starting at $172.00. Both are available for a wide variety of handguns with or without a mounted light.
