First Choice Armor Launches Most Advanced Quick-Release Vest Available for Military or Tactical Operations
The SOB™ Carrier System from the Vortex™ Tactical Brand by First Choice Armor
First Choice Armor announces the newest offering from its Vortex™ line of body armor. This SOB™ Carrier System has a unique patent-pending quick release system known as IQRIS™- Integrated Quick Release Internal Separation. The SOB™ is designed to be worn over soft body armor as a tactical load-bearing ESAPI plate Carrier System. What makes this product extraordinary is the patent-pending IQRIS™ quick release system; now available as a “one-pull” that allows the operator access out of the vest in less than 2 seconds.
“The SOB™ Carrier System is unique because not only can you doff this vest in less than 2 seconds, but you can easily put the entire system back together in under 1 minute, states Matthew Baker, Senior Vice President of Sales. “This ‘one-pull’ system was developed specifically with the current and future needs of not only the Special Operations community, but the military at large.”
This system also has the ability to integrate side torso plates, for added AP threat protection. This add-on doesn’t impede the rapid deployment ability of this Carrier System either. Some other exciting features to point out are: Heavy-duty, quick-dry, mesh liner to help eliminate heat stress issues, while adding durability and longevity to the Carrier System system. There is also an optional side closure for using SOB™ Carrier System without modular side panels. The system will be available with an in-field repair kit in case pieces are lost or damaged when the system is disengaged. The benefit of the repair kit and the SOB™ system being made up of very few pieces is that it can be carried with the operator on in-field operations.
This SOB™ Carrier System can be disengaged and re-assembled with only one hand and even while someone is wearing gloves.
