eNodeB, Long Term Evolution (LTE) Digital Base Station – Less Equipment, Lower Power and More Reliable Communication for Officers
eNodeB LTE, digital base station replaces much of the equipment, cables and other gear housed in a shelter below the tower. And, the eNodeB is mounted on the tower, which lowers operating costs, reduces power consumption and delivers better network performance because there are no cables and transmission lines running from the shelter to antennas that can slow the network down, degrade the signal or result in latency or dropped calls.
