Our small investigations unit (3 major crimes detectives, 1 narcotic detective, 1 supervisor, and 1 clerk) is looking at getting some software that will help with the organizational flow of assigning cases and letting the supervisor keep track of what's going on and if necessary add tasks to the detectives to-do list. We don't have the time or resources to create a new program and the xfire program doesn't seem to fit right. Are there any other software programs that are used and recommended? We don't want anything that will run the entire department just help us to be more efficient.
