St Bernard Parish Sheriff's Department Recognizes It's Heroes
 When Hurricane Katrina hit, a number of people and even law enforcement personal lost everything. St. Bernard Parish was no different. Even at the risk of losing everything the officers and deputies of the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Department stayed to help.
In commemoration of their heroic efforts, SymbolArts is proud to have assisted the design and manufacture of a special badge for this department and all its officers. Sheriff Jack Stephens commissioned and authorized the badge for all deputies. These badges will be worn with honor as their regulation badge for at least the next year.
The new badge incorporates their existing style with only the addition of the circular banner around the center seal. The seal itself was not changed from traditional State of Louisiana seal used before.
