Blackhawk! Expands the Law Enforcement Duty Gear Line for 2008

NORFOLK, VA – Blackhawk! which introduced the SERPA Auto Lock™ Level 3 Duty Holster in 2007 continues to expand the line of duty gear for law enforcement officers. The SERPA Auto Lock Level 3 Duty Holster, the Level 3 SERPA Light Bearing Duty Holster and the Level 3 SERPA Light Bearing Duty Holster and Night-Ops Weapon Light Combo which all use your natural drawing motion to release the weapon, now have three finishes on the injection molded carbon fiber composite construction; a Matte finish, Plain finish, and a Basket Weave finish.

 Another new holster is the Blackhawk CQC™ Level 2 SERPA Light Bearing Holster for the Xiphos NT™ for Colt 1911 Government and other 1911 clones, as well as for the SIG Sauer P220 and P226, in addition to the Glock 17/22/31 models. The slim profile of the Xiphos light means that there is no added bulk away from your body. Available in a black matte finish for a MSRP of $48.99.

Blackhawk! has also expanded their Cordura Nylon Accessory offerings to include single mag cases for single and double row mags; single and double mag cases for the Glock 10mm/.45 and the HK .45; a universal double mag case; a universal single mag/knife case; divided double mag cases for double and single row mags; and a small mag/knife case. New cuff cases include an open top single cuff case, a compact cuff case, and a single and double cuff case. New light cases include one for the 6P/Scorpion/Strion/M6 lights, one for the Stinger light and one for the Stinger XT light. New latex glove carries include a single or double pouch design. Two new universal radio carriers feature either a fixed or swivel loop. The new microphone carrier snaps around the epaulet of a uniform shirt. Chemical Agent cases are now available in large or medium and key holders are now available as standard, silent or open versions.

Blackhawk! is also introducing a variety of new Duty Belts produced in the new Blackhawk facility in Boise, Idaho. The Reinforced Web Duty Belt offers two layers of nylon web reinforced with a polymer spine for durability and strength. The nylon binding provides a smoother edge, more comfort and a more professional appearance. The binding not only reduces abrasion from the edge of the belt but the triple lock buckle prevents accidental opening or someone stripping your belt.

The Reinforced Web Duty Belt with Loop Inner has all the great features of the Reinforced Web Duty Belt plus a nylon loop inner surface to mate up with the nylon hook of the Blackhawk inner duty belt for more stability and a more secure mounting of your accessories. Available in black, sizes small to extra-large for an MSRP of $29.32

Blackhawk’s new Web Duty Belt is a double layer belt with a triple retention buckle and molded keepers for serious wear. The Web Duty Belt is a strong performer at a great MSRP of $21.99 in sizes small to extra-large.

And finally, Blackhawk’s Inner Duty Belt – Hook and Loop Closure features a double layer nylon web inner that fastens with nylon hook and loop with bound edges for increased comfort. The full length nylon hook on one side mates with the nylon loop of many duty belts to increase stability. Reverse the belt for courtroom wear without a duty belt if desired. Available in small to extra-large sizes for an MSRP of $12.65.

For the CQC™ Pistol Belts, Blackhawk had built an everyday 1 ¼” dress belt for the armed professional with a reinforced spine for added stability to keep your handgun from rolling out. New this season is a plain brown with a brushed brass buckle in sizes from a 28” waist to a 48” waist and a plain black belt with a brushed nickel finish in the same sizes. Additional sizes for the Lizard, Gator and Carbon Fiber finish belts have been added for sizes 28”, 30”, 44”, 46”, and 48”. The CQC Pistol Belts range in MSRP from $43.99 for the Carbon Fiber finish to $46.99 for the Plain Brown and Black, Lizard and Gator finish belts.

For the Tac SERPA holster platform, Blackhawk now has a new Tac Mag Pouch that allows you to carry a spare magazine or small knife on the Tac SERPA holster platform. The flap keeps items from coming out until you need them and the bolt-on-design makes them easy to add. Available in black, coyote tan, foliage green, and olive drab for an MSRP of $20.99.

The Colt 1911 model has been added to the Blackhawk Demonstrator Weapon line up for demonstrating holsters and other pistol accessories made from injection molded glass filled polymer in Grey or Safety Orange. MSRP is $30.99.
