Team Safariland Member Michael Voigt Wins His 10th USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals
JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announces that Team Safariland member Mike Voigt achieved an unprecedented 10th victory at the 2009 USPSA (U.S. Practical Shooting Sports Association) Multi-Gun National Championships using Safariland™ products in all disciplines of fire.
Voigt wore Safariland’s newest competition holster, the Model 013, for the pistol discipline, which offered him a secure and fast holster. He used several Safariland tactical accessory products for the rifle and shotgun category including: the Model 774 Rifle Mag Pouch, which clips on to the belt offering an adjustable carry angle; the Model 7742 Magazine Doubler, which provided him with quick efficient reloads of the second magazine; the molded ABS Model 080-12 to hold two shot shells; and the RR-600-2 3-9x scope.
In the women’s class, Maggie Reese, sponsored by Safariland, won the Open Ladies Division also using the Model 013 and the same tactical accessories as Voigt for the rifle and shotgun categories. Tasha Hanish, another Safariland sponsored shooter, won the Tactical Scope Ladies Division wearing a Safariland holster Model 567 Belt Slide holster.
