Bullard TACSIGHT Thermal Imager Used For Security During Democratic National Convention
 The Bullard TACSIGHT Thermal Imager for Law Enforcement played a vital role ensuring security and safety during the recent Democratic National Convention in Boston.
The Newton, MA Police Department CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams) sniper team, working in collaboration with MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) Police, used the TASCSIGHT thermal imager to scan assigned patrol areas from tactical positions.
"TACSIGHT gives us that extra edge" stated Patrolman Paul Patriarca of the Newton PD. "It allows us to see what we might not otherwise see during after-dark operations. TACSIGHT is rugged, easy to use, and gives us a clear picture for surveillance operations at reasonable distances. Being able to employ the large display screen or the attachable monocular eyepiece gives us options we need for various operations."
Patrolman Patriarca is a member of the CERT team and has lead responsibility for thermal imager training with the Newton Police Department.
