Combined Tactical Systems 40mm Foam Baton

The Combined Tactical Systems 40mm Foam Baton impact munition is an extremely accurate spin-stabilized less-lethal projectile. Specifically developed for 40mm rifled grenade launchers such as, the U.S. M203, M79 and Penn Arms Launching Systems, the 40mm Foam Baton is used by police and corrections officers to aid in the control of riots and potentially violent noncompliant subjects. The 40MM Foam Baton is designed to deliver blunt trauma and cause temporary incapacitation. When fired, the projectile engages the barrel’s rifling creating a spin and stabilizing the round in flight, thus providing a high degree of accuracy. The foam baton compresses and deforms during impact, transferring the kinetic energy over a wider surface for maximum effect.
