Man suspected of impaired driving led officers on lengthy chase

MESA, Ariz. - Police took two people into custody after leading officers on a chase through the east Valley Tuesday morning.

Air15 video showed nearly a dozen law enforcement vehicles surrounding a silver van stopped on Mesa Drive, south of McKellips Road.

At around 11:15 a.m. a female driver and male passenger came out of the vehicle. The driver walked toward officers, pulled her hair back and fell backward to the ground where she was handcuffed. It appeared police used a stun gun on her.
