Video: Man who threatened police is TASERed
Once outside, the man told police he had explosives in his house that he planned to detonate
DELHI TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Ingham County sheriff's deputies subdued a man by way of Taser after he allegedly threatened them Tuesday.
The man's wife called police, claiming he was drunk and discharging a gun inside their home, MLive media affiliate WLNS reports. The wife told police her husband had made several threats, including that he wanted to kill a police officer. Police arrived at the scene and a negotiator was able to talk the man out of the house.
Once outside, the man told police he had explosives in his house that he planned to detonate, according to WLNS. Sheriff's deputies tased the man as he attempted to walk away from them. Charges are likely.
