Domestic standoff ends with CS gas

TELLICO PLAINS, Tenn. — A domestic assault call that led to a standoff with police from three agencies early Tuesday morning ended when officers flushed the barricaded suspect out using a non lethal gas.

Jason C. McNellis, 32, was charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment, and additional charges may be pending, according to Monroe County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Jennifer Bledsoe.
