TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System Allows Simultaneous Application Of Lethal and Non-Lethal Force

Why Other Tools Do Not Accomplish What the TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System Does:

    TigerLight
  • Tools such as stun devices are used effectively in pre-meditated/single subject situations, but are not typically effective in sudden, unanticipated attacks or against multiple attackers
  • Belt pepper sprays require time to extract from a belt, index and spray. Therefore, they require pre-mediation. Additionally, the spray must occupy either the gun hand or the flashlight hand reducing the ability to effectively transition to other levels of force.
  • Less lethal shotguns, bean-bag guns and other tools firing non-lethal projectiles, although effective in many situations, again require pre-meditation of a use-of-force incident while sacrificing a lethal force option and possibly illumination
  • The act of removing any weapon from the belt or vest often escalates the situation beyond verbal commands or persuasion, adversely affecting the first and second levels in the continuum.
How The Tigerlight® Non-Lethal Defense System Revolutionizes The Force Continuum, Closing The Gap And Providing Enhanced Effectiveness At Every Level Of The Force Continuum:
  • The Tigerlight's Exceptionally Bright Illumination Enhances Visual Acuity
    The unit increases the soldier’s ability to assess the threat, the surroundings, assets and liabilities, enabling more informed decisions and tactically superior responses, while enabling fluid transition between lethal and non-lethal force.

  • The Tigerlight Provides Enhanced Ability To Temporarily Blind, Disorient, Distract And "Soften" A Subject
    This ability gives the soldier more time to verbally dissuade the subject from escalating, all while keeping the gun hand free.

  • Tigerlight Provides A Split Second, Stealth, Unanticipated Non-Lethal Response Against Single Or Multiple Attackers
    Because the subject is both blinded and unaware that the soldier has a non-lethal, pepper spray dispensing weapon in hand, both it’s tactical effectiveness and stopping power are enhanced beyond the effectiveness of a belt canister of pepper spray, while enabling fluid transition between lethal and non-lethal force.

  • The Tigerlight May Be Utilized As An Impact Weapon, Baton Or Deflection Device
    Should pepper spray fail to stop the subject, the impact weapon is already in hand while maintaining illumination capability and the ability to transition to and from lethal force, instantaneously. It is also sturdy enough, of such dimensions and held in such a manner as to be effective as a deflection devise against blows from impact devices.

  • The Tigerlight Enhances Lethal Force Capability
    By providing enhanced non-lethal force options, the TigerLight reduces the likelihood that lethal force will be required or be used unnecessarily. Should lethal force become necessary, the TigerLight allows for the instantaneous transition to lethal force without giving up the ability to immediately transition back down the force continuum should the situation merit such action.

  • Additional Capabilities Of The Tigerlight Non-Lethal Defense System
    Optional equipment includes a quick release gun mount and rail holstering system that allows upright carry on an interceptor vest or duty belt. This allows the solder to carry the unit on his vest until needed on his gun to enhance hard sight capability at night. It also locks on so an opponent would not be able to remove it in a hand-to-hand combat situation. An optional infrared lens greatly enhances night vision capability. The system also provides the ability to deploy pepper spray right from the vest or belt. It also allows hands free illumination of the area in front of the soldier while performing a task requiring the use of both hands. The unit works with all Vision Intelligence night vision devices to provide night vision with remote viewing capability.
The TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System provides much more than a single non-lethal response. Its multiple uses include:
  • Enhanced ability to verbally control a subject.
  • Blinding light for momentary distraction and deterrence ("Softening" of the subject) with immediate split second transitions to;
  • Stealth application of OC, with immediate transition to;
  • Effective application of an impact weapon, to;
  • Immediate, enhanced lethal response, by keeping the gun hand free and the subject, or subjects, and surroundings, illuminated.
  • The ability to instantaneously transition up and down the force continuum without having to discard anything or retrieve anything from the belt.

With the TigerLight® you can SEE FIRST, UNDERSTAND FIRST AND ACT FIRST, as stated in a memorandum concerning non-lethal capability requirements. This is all accomplished without having to retrieve anything other than the hand gun from the belt and while simultaneously maintaining ALL FORCE OPTIONS in the FORCE CONTIUUM without having to change hands, re-holster anything or discard any weapon in order to retrieve another from a belt holder. Nor will the standard duty flashlight have to be discarded, thereby reducing vision and potentially providing the subject, or subjects, with an impact weapon that might be used against the officer, soldier, etc..

Also extremely important is that if the officer is forced to escalate to LETHAL FORCE, he is still able, with the TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System, to instantly transition back down the Force Continuum to non-lethal force that may be appropriate for additional subjects at the scene. He or she can do this without having to take, or risk, the time it takes to re-holster a gun and get pepper spray off a belt, or off the ground where it was dropped in order to free up his gun hand, and without giving up his light. This is especially critical in a high adrenaline situation, where, although the second or third responses may "merit" non-lethal force, the officer only has "lethal force" or "no force" capability in his hands, thereby being forced to resort to hand-to-hand combat, or unjustifiable use of lethal force.

TigerLight would be more than happy to come to your location with our Master Trainer, Randy Butler, to give what we refer to as a "Training Demo". Let us get you started on an evaluation of THE product that is THE answer to the current gap in the non-lethal sector of the force continuum and a critical enhancement to the lethal sector for the reasons mentioned above.

We have developed a holstering system for the "Interceptor" Vest that provides a quick release, retention and multi-positioning capability. We also have Night Vision capability with the unit through a devise developed by Vision Intelligence www.visionintelligence.net. It is still being perfected, but looks VERY promising and is currently functional. You'll notice the light shown on their site is the TigerLight® without the OC. Both TigerLight® units are fully compatible with the Night Vision devise, which allows the unit commander to see through the eyes, or lens, of four other individuals.
