GILBERT, Ariz. — Gilbert Police were forced to use the Taser on a man who was suspected of assaulting and urinating on his girlfriend and choking a 14-year-old male who tried to intervene.

According to police Samuel Willette, 33, was "very intoxicated" when police responded to the scene about 11:40 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of West Warner Road at which time Willette tried to flee the scene and was then incapacitated with a Taser and arrested, police said.

Willette was accused of throwing his 29-year-old girlfriend to the ground and choking her before urinating on her. A 14-year-old boy who witnessed the scene tried to stop Willette, but he began choking the teen until a woman said she was calling the police.

Willette has been charged with domestic assault, aggravated assault on a juvenile, domestic violence criminal damage, and three counts of disorderly conduct.
