DGI’s CoBRA® deployed to Army V Corps by the CBDP Joint Program Executive Office
Alexandria, VA - Defense Group Inc., (DGI) has deployed its Pocket CoBRA® software and FieldScout computers to the U.S. Army's V Corps, whose mission is to train, equip, staff and rapidly deploy America's forward-deployed contingency force for military operations in support of peace or war. CoBRA® crisis management software provides decision support to first responders, emergency managers and military personnel. The CoBRA® FieldScout packages Pocket CoBRA® on the ultra-rugged Tactical Data System Recon Personal Digital Assistant. Following training performed by Defense Group Inc., a total of 40 CoBRA® software licenses and 40 FieldScout units were provided for use to V Corps Soldiers for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) response. The streamlined interface and unique collection of tools, guides, checklist, and SOPs in CoBRA® provide V Corps Soldiers the tools they need to accomplish their mission safely. The deployment was managed by the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD).
