BRECKENRIDGE, Texas — Officers at the Breckenridge Police Department are now outfitted with a new piece of equipment: body-worn cameras. The department purchased 12 of the cameras at $120 each, and Chief Larry Mahan said the cameras offer an additional way for officers to keep a record of all incidents and calls.

"One of our ofcers had purchased one for himself, so I thought it was a good idea," Mahan said. "The camera sees what the officer sees."
