Rhodium Suite from Denver-Based Company Selected for TriTech Software Systems Inform CAD Integration in MN County

Denver, CO – Denver-based Incident Response Technologies, Inc. (IRT) has partnered with industry-leading TriTech Software Systems (TriTech) to integrate IRT’s Rhodium™ Incident Management Suite into computer-aided dispatch emergency services which will be utilized by all emergency response services in Anoka County, MN.

Anoka County is a major suburb of the Twin Cities, located northwest of Minneapolis. Anoka County emergency services – including 11 law enforcement agencies, 15 fire agencies, and EMS – will be the first to utilize Inform CAD with Rhodium integration. The Rhodium software allows emergency responders to manage dynamic and evolving situations, by recording and sharing critical incident information in near real-time using either computers or tablet devices.

Staff and vehicle accountability, task assignments, mapping data, and reference files are among the variety of response management features that can be controlled within Rhodium. The integration of Rhodium with Inform CAD will make the process even more seamless as the status of responding and on-scene resources will be automatically updated into Rhodium.

“Connecting Rhodium with Inform CAD provides a state-of-the-art solution for Anoka County,” says Jarret Winkelman, IRT Director of Sales. “Automatic updates from Inform CAD will reduce the need to manually enter data into Rhodium, streamlining the incident management process for responders.”

Rhodium also includes a tactical accountability board. This feature was designed in a combined effort with the Denver Fire Department, and allows responders to easily manage smaller, day-to-day incidents using a simple “drag and drop” interface. The cloud-based technology is very intuitive to use and new users typically require less than 4 hours of training. Individual system tools can be taught on the fly in less than 15 minutes.

“Inform CAD along with the Rhodium Incident Management Suite will offer Anoka County a complete overview for major incidents” says Robert McGrath, TriTech Director of Sales. “Leveraging our combined technologies to provide quick, accurate situational awareness, Anoka County’s public safety agencies will now have the ability to access and share records and information to provide a superior level of service.”

The partnership is part of Anoka County’s signi ficant update to all public safety records and information systems. The county’s current CAD system is more than 30 years old, and can no longer be supported.

“This new system will greatly enhance information 911 dispatchers, police officers and firefighters have as they respond to emergency situations,” says Chris Olson, Chief of the Blaine Police Department. “It will change the way all our agencies gather, store and retrieve data, and allow that data to be instantaneously shared for virtually every public safety position within the County,” says Olson.

The Rhodium™ Incident Management Suite is currently being used by a variety of emergency services throughout the country. In 2013, Rhodium was used in response to wildfires south of Denver, CO as well as the Cleburne Tornado in Texas. Rhodium has previously been utilized in response to Hurricanes Sandy and Irene, during the 2012 tornado season, and in planning and staging for major special events, including the 2012 Denver Presidential Debate, the 2013 Solheim Cup, and the 2013 U.S. Pro Cycling Challenge. The system is also currently used by a variety of other incident response agencies including the Denver (CO) Fire Department, the Town of Vail (CO) Fire and Police Departments, the Montgomery County (MD) Fire and Police Departments, the Butler County (OH) Type 3 IMT, the West Valley City (UT) Fire and Police Departments, Orlando International Airport, and the Georgia State University Police Department. Currently, Rhodium™ is in use by agencies in more than 27 states and Canada.
