Salient Stills VideoFOCUS Pro 1.7 Offers Enhanced Demultiplexing Features and Increased Software Responsiveness
BOSTON, MA - Salient Stills today released VideoFOCUS 1.7 which adds new tools and editing capability to streamline and enhance the video demultiplexing process as well as providing significant improvements in software responsiveness.
"VideoFOCUS 1.7 features were designed in direct response to customer feedback. Demultplexing video is an increasing and time consuming task for many of our law enforcement and security customers. We added time-saving features to allow the process to proceed more quickly while insuring the integrity of the video data,” said Laura Teodosio, President of Salient Stills, Inc.
VideoFOCUS Pro 1.7 offers a robust, yet simple to use, video demultiplexing solution that avoids the need for specialized demultiplexing hardware. It is no longer necessary to sort through a confusing array of video frames - a time consuming and potentially flawed process. Through sophisticated image processing algorithms, VideoFOCUS Pro 1.7 recognizes and separates multiple camera views into individual streams of video without the loss of data. Once the video data is demultiplexed, camera views can be sorted, saved and enhanced to create clear video images.
New VideoFOCUS 1.7 features include:
Demultiplex Sensitivity: Users can adjust the frame-matching algorithm, ensuring effective demultiplexing of all kinds of video, including those with similar camera views or poorly exposed video segments.
Editing and Management: If troublesome video gives you mixed results, re-run the demultiplexing tool over views until you get the results you need. Edit and move entire views or sections of frames from one view to another.
Improved User Interface and Increased Responsiveness The user interface features an improved look and feel under Windows XP as well as infrastructure changes that result in increased responsiveness of the software interface saving even more valuable time for the user.
