SymbolArts Obtains Contract To Do Anniversary Badge For Green Bay Police
 SymbolArts has obtained a 214-badge contract to manufacture the Green Bay 150th (1857 - 2007) anniversary badge. Green Bay PD Chief Craig Van Schyndle wanted a badge design that incorporated their old original department establishment badge while still adding a modern look. To give this look Green Bay incorporated as their center seal their old 1857 star badge. They then incorporated an outside circle and the US and Wisconsin Flags to acknowledge the present department. This design represent both the past and present of the Green Bay Police. Based on the each individual rank they will get either a two-tone or a solid gold finished badge.
With this unique, custom badge design Green Bay will have a badge that will be cherished throughout history. With the tradition that badges carry, perhaps someday someone will find one of these new Green Bay badges and will know to continue the tradition of this department.
