Danner Telson GTX Built With Added Side-Zip Features

Danner incorporates innovative side-zip feature for easy on and off in the field for optimum performance

PORTLAND, OR - New for 2007, the 8" Telson Side Zip GTX featuring the most recent technical innovations from Danner, is built for elite law enforcers, military personnel and anyone else who demands athletic performance from their boots, yet are unwilling to compromise support or stability.

The Telson Side Zip GTX incorporates a quick and easy on-and-off feature for experts in the field. A proven, durable boot on the job, the Telson takes comfort and performance to the next level by incorporating the side-zip option. The contoured zipper accommodates the natural design of both the boot and foot for the most precise fit. In addition, the Telson features the Danner lace-to-toe system for added stability.

The foundation of the Telson is the patent pending new platform, EXO . EXO combines Danner's famous quality and durability with the lightweight performance of an athletic shoe. By eliminating the standard shank system used in conventional boots and replacing it with a light TPU exoskeleton chassis, the new platform reduces weight, increases support and provides toe-to-heel flexibility. The result is a platform that provides long wearing comfort and reduces foot fatigue so that its wearer's performance is uncompromised.

The boot utilizes abrasion resistant material at critical high wear points to protect the boot and the wearer from the daily rigors of uniform duty. The Telson has an integrated GORE-TEX® breathable waterproof lining to keep its wearer dry and comfortable in the most demanding environment and situations. With a full-grain leather and Cordura upper and durable, street stable outsole, the Telson is built to last and handle the toughest job or terrain.

The Telson Side Zip GTX is available in January 2007 in Men's sizes 7-15 D, 8-14 EE, with half sizes to 12, with a suggested retail price of $190.
