TigerLight, Inc. To Introduce NEW Pocket Sized Multi-Function TigerLight® Product at Shot Show Booth# 9545

Heber City, UT - After three years of research and development TigerLight, Inc. is introducing the first fully functional prototype of it's new pocket/purse sized TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System at Shot Show 2007 in Orlando, Florida January 10-14 at the Orlando Convention Center.

"The best way to describe this new unit is COOL!!!" says TigerLight, Inc. CEO Michael Teig.

That may not be the most professional sounding description for the little brother to a non-lethal weapon that has proven itself to be one of the most potent, effective non-lethal weapons ever introduced to law enforcement and military operations, but it is, in fact, VERY COOL.

Following in the footsteps of the current Gold Series TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System is no easy task. In fact, a recent press release by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department touting a 43% reduction in lethal force, 25% reduction in "significant force" and a 95%+ compliance rate speaks loudly of the capability of the 11 inch Gold Series Tigerlight® Non-Lethal Defense System, not to mention Candlepowerforums.com designation as the "World's #1 Rechargeable Flashlight."

"The question I've been asked probably 100 to 1 over any other question has been 'Are you going to make a small version my wife can carry in her purse?'" says Teig. "We could not just shrink our current product down. It didn't work. A new patent pending design yielded a non-lethal defense system that is less than 5 inches long. It is about the size of a gun handle and has a similar grip It is held in the overhand shoulder height position similar to the current TigerLight® unit.

The light has two switches, perfectly positioned with the tactical switch under the index finger and the utility switch under the middle finger.

The "tactical switch" drives the new LUXEON K2, powered by a single CR123 Lithium battery. We have programmed the chip to get the most output possible out of a K2 for at least 45 minutes. It is amazingly bright. The modes of the tactical light are MOMENTARY/ON/OFF. It can also strobe.

The "utility switch" activates either a RED LED, TWO WHITE LED's in low beam or high beam, or two SIDE LIGHTS for ultra low lighting requirements. The side lights can be left on to help locate the light at night in a tent, or a purse. They also light up your name, agency name or company logo.

There are other impressive functions, but too much to detail here.

Obviously the most important aspect of this light is its self defense capability, which was our greatest concern. " I had tried out a number of ½ and ¾ ounce spray canisters and felt the spray volume and speed to target was pathetic, if not dangerous, providing a false sense of security. In fact, one product only sprayed about three feet. I had to ask myself if I would want this new TigerLight® model in my wife or daughter's hand if attacked. When I sprayed it the first time a great feeling of relief came over me. My concern was over. After seeing the light output and the spray output we knew we had a giant winner of a product, one everyone should have, civilian or police," says Teig.

Come and see it at Booth #9545 in the Law Enforcement Section at Shot Show Orlando January 10-14.
